We are glad to announce that the research project CResDET – Crisis Resistant Digital Education and Training has reached its first major milestone, thereby presenting “A framework for the rapid adaptation and digitalization of education and training in the event of a crisis”.

The framework addresses the demand of educators in the engineering design and product development domain for a systematic approach to adapting their courses to a crisis event. Within the scope of the framework, we provide materials, to help gain a holistic view of a crisis event, create awareness of the implications on teaching activities and ultimately provide educational objectives, methods and tools to align and digitalize engineering product development courses to the given situation. You will find the framework and its material in the framework section of the website.

In the upcoming stages of the project, we are verifying and updating the framework methodology, as well as providing explicit guidelines that can help educators with the implementation of the proposed tools and methods.
